Bond Grrl icon Gratitude Campaign

Wednesday, June 4th, 2008

The Gratitude CampaignA friend just sent me this link to Gratitude Campaign.org - take a look. The story is that the Founder thought that it would be nice if civilians had a gesture or sign that they could use to say “thank you” quickly and easily when seeing military/veterans (he travelled a lot, so was often in the airport with military in uniform passing by) without even having to approach. It’s not limited to the military. There are lots of people who are serving their communities, from local to global. If you appreciate their service, give them a sign. Say “thank you from the bottom of my heart.” The movie (linked above) shows you how to do it simply.

Bond Grrl icon BONUS INTERVIEW PODCAST: Minna Yoo from LoveBottle.net

Monday, May 12th, 2008

Love BottlesThis Coffee Chat podcast is with Minna Yoo, CEO and Founder of LoveBottle.Net.  LoveBottle.net sells reusable glass water bottles with single-hand-opening pop tops that you can write on. The idea is based on the studies of Masaru Emoto (which you can find at www.hado.net), that show that whatever you write on a glass can actually effect the water crystals inside of the glass. So Love Bottles change your water with the energy of the words that you write on them. And when you consider that 70% of your body is water, you get to infuse that energy into your own being. (NOTE: I don’t get any “kickbacks” from any of these interviews—these really are my experts, and I want to share them with you… no strings attached!) Here is MY Love Bottle, the “Rocker” Black and Pink Star model (ain’t she sweet?):Rocker Bottle

I hope you enjoy this podcast, and please let me know if there are other experts you might like to hear interviewed on our Coffee Chats.

Bond Grrl icon Dr. Jill Taylor video

Saturday, March 15th, 2008

I had a profound reaction to watching this video. It is 18-minutes, and is an astonishing glimpse into the magic and danger of left/right brain function. Dr. Jill Taylor is a neuro-anatomist who specialized in brains because her brother is schizophrenic.

I am completing a podcast interview with Eve Abbott, the Organizer Extraordinaire from ABrainNewWayToWork.com. She sent me this link after our interview, and it really is amazing. Do set out enough time to watch it. It starts a bit slowly, but you will be totally glued to the screen at the end, waiting to hear “what happened next.”

This is the description from the hosting website:

This is an absolute must-watch. Set aside 18 minutes and prepare to be floored. Consensus among TED’sters is that this may be the most memorable and important TED Talk ever. It was certainly the most talked-about presentation among those at TED2008. Enjoy and share with others. And let Jill’s experience inspire, motivate, and change the way you look at life.  http://www.microclesia.com/?p=320   I guarantee you will be rewarded by investing 18 minutes on this video of Dr. Jill Taylor presenting at the TED conference.

A friend sent me this link, and I’d like to share it with you — it takes a few minutes to run, but I think it’s super lovely. And it says better than I ever could what I would like to say to YOU, this morning :-)
