I’m Sandy Shepard, Lifestyle Trainer and Founder of the Fempowerment Lifestyle Training Academy. I am a certified Mastermind coach. My mission is to empower women to live their best life, their way, every day.
Fempowerment is the primal strength of being a woman, that, by definition, only women can embody. Being Fempowered is about being in harmony with, and empowered by, your inner authentic female self ― being charming, of service, indispensable, resilient, graceful, chic, sexually confident, ageless, and self-aware. And most assuredly not being a man (but understanding what makes them tick).
The Be a Bond Girl Diary morphed from general Bond Girl information to a Diary following my Insane Quest to turn CouchPotato Woman into Ironwoman. I completed this Quest in August 2010, completing the IRONMAN Triathlon in Louisville with Team In Training, and raising $10,000 to combat Leukemia & Lymphoma in the process. I had to finish under 17 hours…as you can see from this photo, my time was 16:58:51! I know, way to make ABC Sports as the last woman over the line. I was smiling though! Since then, I’ve raised over $25,000 with Team In Training/Leukemia & Lymphoma Society to battle blood cancers – and have done triathlons, marathons, and half-marathons in the process (don’t worry – I’m still at the back of the pack . . . but smiling!)
As of a couple days ago – the blog has re-morphed. A friend of mine and I are going to try to get onto The Amazing Race and have done a 365 day “stick to it” agreement – where every day for a year we do SOMETHING that could help us get on The Amazing Race (“TAR” for short). If you’re curious, go ahead, read the blog!

“. . . I recently enjoyed the book Eat, Pray, Love. Sandy’s book details similar lessons, but gives practical steps for any woman to follow and embody without giving up her job and home, then traveling abroad for a year! . . .” (read full quote here)
